Please R.S.V.P Here!

                         Welcome

 Friends and Family!!!

We are thrilled to have you in our lives! And even more at our wedding. Having those who have influenced and shaped our lives is very important to us, and your time and effort in                               coming would mean the world to us.

We believe that marriage is a sacred and holy union that is   meant for our sanctification and God's glory. Also, marriage is meant to display the relationship between Christ and his                    church, as described in Ephesians 5:22-27.

Please comment below to tell us whether you are coming,                                         and how many to expect!

Our Story.

The story of how we met...courted and got engaged!
It all started in October of last year when we both started attending Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.
After a few months on knowing each other, on January 27th David asked my Dad if he could court me!
During our courtship we got to know each other better, and really got to talk about issues that we were adamant about, our likes and dislikes, and our convictions. All within a family setting.

We also got to meet the whole Powell family and spend time with them during that time.
We had a nephew and niece born during our courtship.
Then in May I had a frisbee accident that put me on crutches for three weeks! During that time I saw David show sacrificial love as he patiently helped me hop and skip around.

Then just a few days later when the Powell family was visiting we went to tour around downtown Jacksonville and during that time we went to Washington Oaks State Park.
We really enjoyed getting to see the tree, and spend the time together, but it was really hot outside!
Our next stop was Friendship Fountain.
Here we (I) stuck me feet in the St. Johns and we goofed off a bit.

Then I noticed that we seemed to be lingering at this park...and everyone had pulled back. I was set on my guard. But David really set me at ease: asking where we were going, and other like questions. Finally I thought well, I guess I'm wrong. So we jumped up and went to scare Rush, my younger brother who was hiding behind a tree.
When we turned around again everyone had a camera pointing at us! I was like what is happening???
David from there spoke for a little longer and then asked me to marry him! Of course I said "Yes"!

So that is just a little of our story. I tried to be as brief as possible as this is a blog post, not a book, but I wanted those reading to get a glimpse of how we met and a little of our background story.

I hope you have enjoyed it!
